The Madison City Council passed a Resolution commemorating the lives lost in the atomic bombings of Hiroshima on August 6th and Nagasaki on August 9th, 1945. Dace Zeps of the Wisconsin Network for Peace, Justice and Sustainability (WNPJS) and the Madison Chapter of Womens’ International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) and Dr. Paula Rogge of Physicians for Social Responsibility- Wisconsin (PSR-WI) attended the City Council Meeting on to accept a copy of the Resolution.
